Magnetic Velocity
How would I figure out the velocity of a ball at the end of the chain.
For example if I had 4 half inch magnets each one 6 inches apart with 3 quarter inch steel ball behind each magnet.
If the starting velocity of the first ball to hit the magnet is 10mph.

What if i changed the ball size half way through.
For example if I had 4 half inch magnets each one 6 inches apart with 3 1/4 inch steel ball behind the first two magnets and 3 1/8 inch steel ball behind the last 2 balls

Current Electricity – Drift Velocity based numerical
Two different wires X and Y of same diameter but different materials are joined together in series across a battery . If the number density of electrons in X is twice that in Y . Find ratio of drift velocity of electrons in two wires .

In series combination, the current is the same.
I = nAev
=> n1v1 = n2 v2
=> v1:v2 =n2:n1

Direction of velocity and acceleration
Is it possible that the velocity and the acceleration of a body point in opposite directions? if yes then why?
if no then why?
Answer:
Yes. It is possible for the direction of acceleration to be opposite to the direction of velocity.
Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. If velocity is increasing while moving in a straight line then the direction of acceleration is same as the direction of velocity.
It the velocity is decreasing whil travelling in a straight line then the direction of acceleration is opposite to the direction of velocity.
Example: When a stone is thrown vertically upwardsm its acceleration is downwards and velocity is upwards.
