Planck’s postulates on quantum physics

I don’t seem to get Planck’s postulates on quantum physics. (Posted  Isaac Atia)

The Planck postulate (or Planck’s postulate) is one of the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics. According to Planck, the energy of oscillators in a black body is quantized, and is given by

E = n hν

where n is an integer (1, 2, 3, …), h is Planck’s constant, and \nu is the frequency of the oscillator
