Energy Mass Equivalence

What is energy mass equivalence??

Ans:

According to Einstein, Energy and Mass are two sides of the same coin,

matter and energy are interconvertible

The energy released when m mass of ANY  substance is completely converted into matter is given by

E = mc2

where c is the velocity of light in vacuum.
