CBSE has given you more time for exams. We have approximately 7 days before the Physics exams. How to use this seven days effectively for a thorough revision is very important.
7-8 days of sleeping is a must.
One hour of exercise
1 to 2 hours for break fast lunch and dinner
1 hour for daily routine
SO you can have upto 12 hours for dedicated studying.
“No one plans to fail, but fails to plan”
Since the seven days are for revision and not for first hand study, I am suggesting a DIVIDE AND LEARN policy
We have tom complete one round of revision in five days and the time left can be utilised for the second round or the final revision.
You might have already noted the important topics as per the syllabus already announced by CBSE and as guided by your teachers. If you have not done so far, I am posting it in the next article.
We divide the Physics curriculum into three
- Electricity and Magnetism (Electrostatics, Current electricity, magnetic effects of current, electromagnetic induction, Alternating current)
- Optics (Electromagnetic waves, Ray optics, Wave optics, Optical instruments)
- Modern Physics (Dual nature of matter and radiation, Atoms, Nuclei, Electronics)
Each chapter is to be divided into 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks, 4 marks and 5 marks questions.
Learn answers to all the 3 marks and five marks of the three sections in first three days. Divide the answers to questions as well known, difficult and very difficult. Add hints to remember, mnemonics etc along with the answers you prepared, Don’t forget to show the answers prepared by you to your teachers and get it corrected. Discuss the difficult and very difficult portions identified by you with your teacher. He/She may have an easy way to learn it.
Learn the answers to questions with 1 mark and 2 marks of the complete curriculum on the 4 th and fifth day.
The last two days to be used to revise well you what you know and revise the difficult ones. The very difficult ones to be taken up only if you are able to learn without much load to the brain.
Revise all the easy and average questions once again on the night before your exam day without worrying much about the extremely difficult ones.
Go to bed early and ensure that you get minimum 6 hours sleep.
Wake up early and keep cool. Go to exam with a confident mind.
Keep visiting the site.
I will be adding more tips and will be doing the work I suggested as above for your benefit. You can add more questions as comments to the post.
Please feel free to ask your questions in the “Ask a Question” session.
